The Coin in the Dust

One day, an old woman realized she had lost a silver coin from her precious collection. Though it was just one coin among ten, it was valuable to her. She lit a lamp, swept the entire house, and searched carefully in every corner.

Hours passed, but she didn’t give up. Finally, under the edge of an old rug, she found the coin — dusty, but still shining. Overjoyed, she called her neighbors and said, “Rejoice with me! I have found the coin I lost!”

Though it was just one coin, it was worth everything to her.

God Seeks the Lost

Just like the woman sought her coin, God seeks every one of us — even when we feel lost, dirty, or forgotten. Jesus said:

“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
— Luke 15:10 (NIV)

You are valuable to God. No matter how far you've wandered, He is looking for you with love. Through Jesus Christ, you are not forgotten. You are found, forgiven, and forever loved.

"Lord Jesus, thank You for never giving up on me. Help me see my worth in You, and lead me back when I’m lost. Amen."
